NEAR Protocol

Mainnet, costs, and limits

The interface targets NEAR mainnet. Marketplace settlement is not switched on, because no reviewed NEARSY contract is deployed.

Live network

It does not call anyone else's marketplace contract.
It does not deploy a contract from the browser.
It does not ask for a seed phrase, private key, or full-access key.
It does not mark a click as a successful chain transaction.
Linking an account checks that the account exists. It is not a signature.
Final mainnet fees (mint deposit, platform fee, creator royalty) will be enforced by the NEARSY contract once it is deployed and audited. The catalog preview uses matching numbers so the math stays the same at launch.

Catalog collection storage deposit: 0.10 NEAR, paid to the platform fee sink in the preview order book. This is not a mainnet storage stake.
Catalog mint storage deposit: 0.05 NEAR. Uploaded images live in Postgres with an 800KB cap, not on IPFS — storage is not free at scale.
Platform fee on every sale: 2.5%. This number will be enforced by the NEARSY contract once it ships, not delegated to an external marketplace.
Creator royalty: up to 10%, set by the collection creator and enforced on-chain on secondary sales.
Creator royalty is skipped on primary sales (when the creator sells their own mint) in the catalog and will be skipped on-chain too.
On NEAR mainnet, gas for a simple call is usually a fraction of a millinear. NFT storage deposits often land around 0.01–0.1 NEAR depending on metadata. These are estimates, not quotes.
The public RPC at https://rpc.mainnet.near.org is used with no paid API key and can rate-limit. There is no paid indexer yet.
Hosting needs a Node server and Postgres. Running the site is not zero cost.

Read-only `nft_metadata` and `nft_token` against a NEP-171 contract. The example is a public Paras token. Buying that token from NEARSY is blocked.
